Gangbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) will hold the ‘2024 Bukhansan Festa, Uiryeong Autumn Foliage Outing’ festival on the 26th at Bukhansan Uiryeong and Uidong Family Camping Site.

This festival, planned to offer healing along with the autumn foliage, features the charm of autumn trekking from Uiryeong Trail to Uidong Family Camping Site and enjoyable experiences at the camping site.

The festival will begin with an opening ceremony at 9:40 AM at Uidong Meeting Square, followed by the official trekking. The course is an 8.8 km round trip starting from Uidong Meeting Square, passing through the 802 Police Unit, Obong Observatory, Seokgulam Samgeori, and returning to the camping site. A half course (4.7 km) is also available for the elderly and toddlers. All participants in the trekking will receive a raffle ticket, snacks, and water, and finishers will be awarded a sling bag and a hiking scarf.

Along the route, participants can enjoy a maple leaf lamination experience and listen to acoustic guitar performances. Event prizes are generously prepared, including glamping vouchers for Uidong Family Camping Site, meal kits, food zone discount coupons, AirPods, bicycles, and more.

At Uidong Family Camping Site, various experience programs will be operated from 11 AM to 4 PM. There are plenty of fun activities for the whole family, such as trampolines, coin karaoke, dart games, dalgona candy making, face painting, and cotton candy making, all popular with children.

Performances by local artists, including popera, jazz, and Nanta, can be enjoyed from 12 PM, and the food zone offers camping food and local market delicacies such as barbecue, tacos, chicken skewers, and fish cakes starting from 11 AM.

Uiryeong Trail requires prior reservation for visits from September to November, the autumn season. However, residents participating in the ‘Uiryeong Autumn Foliage Outing’ event can enjoy the foliage freely without a separate reservation.
