GH Adopts '7 Specialized Community Spaces' in Public Housing... Self-Developed

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) has developed ‘Home GH Round,’ a specialized community service space design standard that enhances functions such as eco-friendliness, safety, and care, and will apply it to GH public housing projects starting in the second half of this year.

The newly developed ‘Home GH Round’ by GH consists of seven specialized community service spaces. First, there is ‘GH Rugali,’ an urban garden that alleviates the stress of communal living; ‘GH Neul Namu,’ a senior center equipped with various programs such as cultural education and health management; ‘GH Deuk Deuk,’ a storage space for large seasonal items that are difficult to keep within individual units; and ‘GH Round Bike,’ a bike station utilizing underground parking space, which draws attention.

Additionally, ‘GH Rae Nanum Zone,’ a safe secondhand goods trading zone using a mom’s station; ‘GH Run (RUN) Gil,’ a jogging track utilizing the emergency route for fire trucks on the ground; and ‘GH Rin Shield,’ a fine dust reduction device installed in a built-in manner at the main building entrance or front door, are also applied as specialized designs in GH multi-family housing.

GH plans to pilot the Home GH Round design in the private-participation public housing projects at Gwangmyeong Hag-on S1, S2, and S3BL, which will be promoted in the second half of this year, and intends to fully introduce it in all multi-family housing projects commissioned by GH in the future.
