Asia Economy will hold the ‘2024 Women Leaders Forum’ on the 30th to share experiences and wisdom to help women grow as leaders. Now in its 13th year, the Women Leaders Forum has established itself as a premier networking platform for women in South Korea.
This year’s theme is ‘Women, Demand from Companies.’ The event will provide a space to share stories from women working on the ground about the systems they urgently need, companies that actively implement and operate such systems, and the virtues women must cultivate as future leaders in line with changes in the corporate environment. Sandra Vintgetter, Vice President of Deutsche Telekom, will deliver the keynote speech titled ‘Why Germany’s Largest Telecom Company Employs Parental Leave Takers as Part-Time Workers.’ Jeong Yu-jeong, author of numerous bestsellers including ‘Seven Years of Night’ and ‘Eternal Paradise,’ will speak on the topic ‘The Last Desire of Humans, Searching for Wildness.’ Leading the sessions with keywords such as corporate culture and women’s careers’ virtuous cycle, achievement and overcoming, challenge and growth will be Lee Ju-ho, CEO of Gounsaesang Cosmetic, Park Young-sun, former Minister of SMEs and Startups, and Lee Hye-min, CEO of Finda.
On this day, Asia Economy will select and announce women excelling in various fields domestically and internationally as the ‘2024 Power K-Women.’ The 9th Asia Gender Equality Index Awards ceremony will also be held to encourage companies actively fostering women’s leadership and building gender-equal organizational cultures, sharing their experiences and knowledge.
