CNN Obtains Korean Survey Form for Report
"New Evidence of North Korean Troop Deployment Alongside Training Videos"
It has been confirmed that Russia even prepared a Korean-language questionnaire for the North Korean soldiers deployed. This was to facilitate the smooth distribution of supplies such as clothing and shoes.
On the 19th (local time), CNN reported that it obtained the Korean-language questionnaire through the Strategic Communication and Information Security Center (SPRAVDI) under the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture.
The questionnaire contained instructions in Korean and Russian asking to fill out sizes for hats, military uniforms, and shoes. There were also sections to indicate height and chest circumference. Hats and military uniforms were each classified as "summer use."
CNN reported that North Korean soldiers must fill out and submit this questionnaire immediately upon arrival in Russia.
Because the sizing systems for clothing differ between Russia and North Korea, the questionnaire classified Russian sizes from 2 to 6, with height ranges such as "162-168" and "168-174" indicated for each number. It appears that when North Korean soldiers submit their height or North Korean uniform size, Russian military uniforms are issued accordingly.
Earlier, SPRAVDI released a video showing North Korean soldiers preparing for deployment to Ukraine at a location presumed to be the Sergeyevsky training center in Primorsky Krai.
The video captured East Asian soldiers believed to be North Korean receiving equipment from soldiers presumed to be Russian. The video also included voices with a North Korean accent saying phrases like "Don't cross over" and "Come out."
Experts analyzed that the military uniforms worn by the soldiers filming the video bore the insignia of a unit from the Eastern Military District of Russia, suggesting that the location where the video was filmed is likely the Sergeyevsky training center in Primorsky Krai.
Additionally, the Telegram channel Parafax released a video showing soldiers entering a military base in a line, reporting that "North Korean soldiers deployed are training in Russia."
The Korean-language questionnaire obtained and released by CNN is interpreted as another piece of evidence confirming the deployment of North Korean troops, alongside the videos previously released by SPRAVDI.
