Busan City and the Busan Global City Foundation (CEO Jeon Yong-woo) will conduct a live video interview with Chef Edward Lee (Lee Gyun), who appeared on Netflix's popular program "The Big Day," through Busan English Broadcasting at 8:20 a.m. on the 21st.
Edward Lee was the runner-up on Netflix's cooking competition show "The Big Day." As a Korean-American immigrant, he gained attention by showcasing the richness, love, and spirit of care in Korean cuisine through his creative tofu dishes and desserts inspired by "Leftover Tteokbokki."
This interview will be conducted in English through Busan English Broadcasting's morning news show, Morning Wave in Busan (Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.).
During the interview, Chef Edward Lee will share his thoughts on the conclusion of "The Big Day," his culinary journey, his identity as a "Bibim Human" (a person who enjoys mixed dishes), and even recipes themed around Busan, offering an elegant and sincere glimpse into his life.
The interview can be listened to on Busan English Broadcasting's terrestrial radio (FM 90.5, FM 103.3 - Gijang, Noksan, Jeonggwan) or via the YouTube channel and mobile app.
