10 Social Economy Enterprise Product Sellers in Busan Participate

Busan City will hold a special sales exhibition for products from social economy enterprises in the Busan area, called the "Social Connect Market," on the 3rd floor of Connect Hyundai in Beomil-dong from the 21st to the 31st.

The city planned this event in collaboration with the Busan Economic Promotion Agency and Connect Hyundai as part of the operation project for a comprehensive distribution organization for social economy enterprises, aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of social economy enterprises and expand their sales channels.


The "Social Connect Market" is an event showcasing a variety of excellent products from social economy enterprises in the Busan area in one place. At this market, visitors can find products from 10 social economy enterprises in the fields of zero waste, food, and living.


The participating companies were finally selected after reviewing product competitiveness and marketability, and they will receive various benefits such as sales space and promotional expenses.

The city plans to conduct aggressive marketing using social networking services (SNS) so that the younger consumer demographic can easily access information about the event to promote sales for the participating companies.


In connection with the "Small Business Online Marketing Support Project," the city will utilize "Sodam Square Busan," a customized support space for real-time commerce (live commerce) to help small and medium-sized merchants enter online sales channels. Support will include creating card news and promotional posters, as well as SNS and influencer promotions.


Shin Chang-ho, Director of the Digital Economy Office of Busan City, stated, "Through this event, we hope to provide social economy enterprises with opportunities to sell and promote their products, and citizens with opportunities to purchase high-quality products from social economy enterprises in Busan, thereby enabling social economy enterprises and citizens to realize social value together."
