This tour was organized to promote the functions of local councils and to enhance students' understanding of parliamentary democracy and local autonomy.

The students greeted the council members in the main assembly hall, took commemorative photos, and received explanations about the council's organization and key duties. They then watched an educational video about the council to learn about the operation methods and roles of local councils.

The members of the Dongducheon City Council pledged to do their best in legislative activities to create a Dongducheon where students want to live through communication with the students. The council members stated that they will continue to listen to students' opinions and strive to implement policies reflecting those views.
