SK E&S will use the new name 'SK Innovation E&S' after merging with SK Innovation on the 1st of next month.
According to the industry on the 18th, SK E&S held a merger briefing session for employees at the SK Seorin Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, from the 17th to that day, announcing this plan.
The new name reflects the direction of maintaining each company's competitiveness and generating merger synergy in the form of an independent company within the corporation (CIC) even after the merger.
Once the merger is completed on November 1st, SK E&S plans to apply a corporate image (CI) with the new name on its official website and social networking services (SNS).
Regarding the post-merger organizational structure, it will basically maintain the CIC form, but organizations that inevitably need to be integrated due to the merger, such as the board secretariat, will be operated under SK Innovation.
SK E&S will also maintain its existing performance bonus system and keep employee titles as they are in each company. SK Innovation uses the title PM, while SK E&S uses Manager, unifying the ranks accordingly.
