At a press conference at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, on the afternoon of the same day, Secretary General Rutte responded to questions about North Korea's troop dispatch by saying, "We will communicate to secure all evidence related to the dispatch."

He specifically mentioned, "Our current official position regarding North Korea's involvement in the war is 'unconfirmed,' but of course, this position can change."

At a press conference the previous day, Secretary General Rutte took a cautious stance on related inquiries, stating "There is no evidence" and "It is currently impossible to confirm."
