Discussion on City Administration Development Plans Including Jobs, Changneung New Town, and Shared Property

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) held a communication meeting on the 18th at Baekseok Office Building to share key policies and current issues of the 8th elected administration and to reflect the voices of local organizations in city administration, with four organizations related to spatial information.
The organizations attending this communication meeting were the Korea Association of Real Estate Appraisers, the Korea Association of Licensed Realtors, the Korea Spatial Information Industry Association, and LX Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation. About 100 members, including branch and regional heads of each organization, participated.
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan of Goyang Special City and the attendees of this meeting shared difficulties and current issues in local administration and discussed future development plans.
The four spatial information-related organizations freely inquired about city administration matters such as Goyang City's job policies, the progress direction of Changneung New Town, and shared property management plans, and requested active administration from Goyang City.
Mayor Lee led the meeting in a friendly atmosphere by engaging in candid conversations with the executives and staff of the organizations throughout the meeting, saying, “It was a meaningful time to create a consensus on city administration together with all members, including executives of the four spatial information-related organizations.”
