Remarkable Achievements in the Promotion and Expansion of Smart Factory Projects
Gyeongbuk Technopark has achieved the highest grade (S grade) in the ‘2024 Technopark Management Performance Evaluation (based on 2023 performance)’ conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups for 19 Technoparks nationwide.
The Technopark Management Performance Evaluation, conducted this time, assesses major projects and institutional management sectors to ensure management efficiency and transparency of institutions in accordance with the ‘Special Act on Support for Industrial Technology Complexes.’
In the evaluation sectors, Gyeongbuk Technopark received excellent ratings for efforts such as ▲achieving the highest grade (S grade) for five consecutive years in the Smart Factory Distribution and Expansion Project ▲designated the largest number (5) of Regulatory Free Zones nationwide ▲the institution head’s strong commitment to sustainable management (ESG management) ▲securing linkage between management strategy and organizational performance systems ▲establishing a labor-management win-win organizational culture based on the labor-management partnership program, and continuous organizational innovation.
Recognizing these achievements, it received the Minister of SMEs and Startups Commendation in the categories of excellent organizations and individuals in management performance evaluation, as well as individual achievements in regional company support.
Gyeongbuk TP also received an A+ grade in the 2024 Gyeongbuk Province investment and contribution institution management performance evaluation, achieving a higher level than last year.
Hainseong, President of Gyeongbuk Technopark, stated, “Having achieved the highest grade (S grade) for four consecutive years in the Technopark Management Performance Evaluation, we are recognized as the nation’s top-level Technopark in name and reality. We will do our best to play a more systematic and core hub role.”
