The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 18th that actor Park Hae-il participated in the narration talent donation for the campaign video "I am a Firefighter," aimed at improving the treatment and perception of firefighting officials, appealing for social interest and support for them.
The video featuring Park Hae-il can be viewed on the campaign page of the Hope Bridge website, and participation in the campaign is possible by signing a statement urging the improvement of social perception of firefighting officials.
The statement calls for △ the establishment of systematic institutional improvement measures for the physical and psychological safety of firefighters △ investment of resources such as rest facilities to ensure safety △ improvement of support for the families of firefighters who died in the line of duty. Through a draw, 40 participants in the campaign each month will receive a pouch upcycled from firefighting gear and a firefighter figure keyring.
Park Hae-il is a member of Hope Bridge’s high-value individual donation club, the "Hope Bridge Honors Club," and has practiced sharing during disasters such as the 2019 Gangwon wildfire, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2023 Gangneung wildfire.
A representative from Park Hae-il’s agency, Noua Entertainment, said, “Park Hae-il has always had gratitude and respect for firefighting officials who practice selfless dedication and sacrifice to protect citizens’ lives,” adding, “We hope many people will participate in this campaign to support and bring changes such as improved treatment for them.”
Hope Bridge plans to continue expanding support for firefighting officials through campaigns like "I am a Firefighter."
