Goseong County, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Ham Myeong-jun) held an appointment ceremony and training for 32 newly appointed employees over two days from the 17th (Thursday) to the 18th (Friday) in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the Goseong County Health Center.
Ham Myung-jun, Governor of Goseong-gun, Gangwon-do (center), is awarding appointment certificates to 32 newly appointed employees and taking a commemorative photo in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the Goseong-gun Public Health Center on the 17th. The newly appointed employees are fresh recruits who have passed the final public competitive and career competitive recruitment exams this year, consisting of 32 people across 13 job categories, including 10 in administration, 9 in facilities, and 3 in nursing.
Goseong County planned practical training and field visits to foster public officials who dedicate and serve according to the citizens' expectations in a rapidly changing environment, and to establish a foundation to strengthen collaboration and communication skills among the MZ generation of new public officials.
On the first day, the 17th, practical training on essential systems for public office work such as personnel management, the On-Nara system, and e-Hojo was conducted, followed by a communication and empathy session with the governor to share the vision for county administration and hold an open dialogue.
On the second day, the 18th, job competency training for a wise workplace life (communication, manners, cooperation) was provided, along with visits to major local sites in Goseong County (Wanggok Village, History and Security Exhibition Hall, Unification Observatory, etc.) to help understand the regional status.
Governor Ham Myeong-jun of Goseong County said, “I expect that all of you who are newly entering public service will play a significant role as partners in shaping the future of Goseong County,” adding, “Each of your roles will be the foundation for regional development, so I hope you take pride as public officials and always carry out your duties responsibly.”
Meanwhile, this year’s newly appointed candidates received preliminary basic training from October 10th (Thursday) to 16th (Wednesday) at Oak Valley Resort, organized by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Public Officials Training Institute before the appointment ceremony.
