On the 18th, SKT announced that the amateur athletes it sponsors won 19 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals at the 105th National Sports Festival held in Gimhae, Gyeongnam. The event took place from the 11th to the 17th.

Since 2022, SKT has been operating the "Sports Dream Tree" support program for three years, discovering and sponsoring middle and high school athletes in amateur sports such as track and field, swimming, modern pentathlon, high jump, and sport climbing. The selection scale is about 30 athletes each year.

At this competition, SKT-sponsored athletes such as swimmers Kim Jun-woo and Noh Min-gyu, gymnast Moon Geon-young, modern pentathlete Shin Soo-min, and track and field athlete Na Madijoeljin won multiple medals.

SKT's Sports Dream Tree support program is bearing fruit. High jumper Choi Jin-woo, supported by SKT, represented the national team at last year's Hangzhou Asian Games. Modern pentathlete Shin Soo-min, swimmer Kim Jun-woo, gymnast Moon Geon-young, and skateboarder Jung Ji-hoon were also selected as national representatives.

Kim Soo-hyun, cycling coach at Jeonnam Sports High School, said, "SKT's 'Sports Dream Tree' support program is a great source of strength for young promising athletes."

Oh Kyung-sik, head of SKT's sports marketing, said, "Over the past three years, through the 'Sports Dream Tree' support, we have worked to promote balanced development in sports and revitalize school sports. We will continue to strive to discover and support promising athletes with high growth potential."
