Genians Opens New Office in UAE... "Accelerating Middle East Market Expansion"

Cybersecurity specialist Genieans announced on the 18th that it has opened a new office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Genieans' new office is located in Dubai Internet City (DIC), a technology hub in the Middle East. DIC houses over 3,000 companies, including Fortune 500 firms such as Google and Microsoft, with more than 29,000 professionals working there.

Based on its current portfolio of over 50 Middle Eastern customer references, Genieans plans to continuously expand its business scope. In particular, by developing managed cybersecurity systems and frameworks tailored to the Middle Eastern market and executing a national project worth 3.8 billion KRW, the company aims to expand its business from the Middle East to the European and African markets.

This UAE office opening is expected to play a crucial role in Genieans' business expansion in the Middle East. Through the local office, the company plans to deepen its understanding of the Middle Eastern market and strengthen cooperation with partners. The strategy is to successfully establish a foothold in the market by expanding its customer base within the region.

Starting with the new office opening, Genieans intends to participate in Middle Eastern IT and security exhibitions such as GITEX and GISEC, and hold roadshows targeting key Middle Eastern countries to expand customer-centric business. Additionally, by producing customized materials for online business and optimizing search, the company will significantly enhance customer contact points and accessibility. Collaborating with an India-based technical support team, Genieans also plans to advance its global technical support and training programs.

Kim Gye-yeon, Genieans CTO and head of the U.S. branch, stated, "There are many similarities between the Middle Eastern region's culture and IT system management methods and those of Korea, leading to a high preference for domestic security solutions." He added, "Genieans' UAE office will serve as a hub not only for the Middle East but also for expanding into the European and African markets."

Meanwhile, Genieans is located in the ‘UAE IT Support Center’ within Dubai Internet City (DIC). The ‘UAE IT Support Center’ was established by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) as part of a policy to pioneer new export markets in the Middle East. Seven promising small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea's ICT sector are co-located there. Companies housed in the 'UAE IT Support Center' can utilize office facilities and business infrastructure while gaining opportunities to expand their global networks with investors and buyers.
