The exhibition will showcase over 1,300 potted chrysanthemums, 33 shaped works, and 50 bonsai chrysanthemums alongside existing plants within the botanical garden.

The botanical garden houses more than 1,200 species of plants, including 23 endangered species. The city explained that visitors can enjoy fragrant plants such as Osmanthus fragrans, which is commonly planted for ornamental purposes in southern regions like Gyeongnam and Jeonnam during this exhibition.

Hwaseong City's Woori Flower Botanical Garden is dedicated to collecting, propagating, preserving, managing, and utilizing tree genetic resources. In particular, the city is currently undertaking remodeling and improvement projects to transform the botanical garden into a tourist attraction in the southwestern region, in connection with the core project of the 8th mayoral term, 'Botanic Garden Hwaseong.'

During the exhibition on the 19th and 20th, various side events such as traditional folk songs, musical galas, face painting, art balloons, and insect experience booths will also be held.

Jung Myung-geun, mayor of Hwaseong City, said, "This exhibition will serve as an opportunity to boost local pride among citizens advancing toward a special city status and to widely promote the beauty of Woori Flower Botanical Garden."
