Han attended the 18th Ponyjeong Innovation Award ceremony held at Ponyjeong Hall, I-Park Tower, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in the afternoon of the same day and made these remarks.

Han said, "Some people were concerned about the quietness of my personal life," adding, "I believe and hope that my daily life will not change much from before." He continued, "I hope to meet readers with a new work in the first half of next year, but since I am always wrong when predicting the completion time of a novel, I find it difficult to specify an exact time."

This is the first time that writer Han has attended a domestic external event and expressed his views since the announcement of the Nobel Prize in Literature on the 10th.
