The Gwanak District Council has completed its organizational setup.
On the morning of the 4th, the Gwanak District Council held a plenary session and elected Councilor Jang Dongsik (People Power Party) as the chairperson.
Subsequently, on the 14th, Councilor Im Changbin (People Power Party) was elected as the vice-chairperson.
On the 15th, the council proceeded to elect the heads of standing committees: ▲ Jang Hyunsu (People Power Party) as Chair of the Operations Committee ▲ Ju Muyeol (Democratic Party) as Chair of the Administration and Finance Committee ▲ Pyo Taeryong (Democratic Party) as Chair of the Health and Welfare Committee ▲ Lee Dongil (People Power Party) as Chair of the Urban Construction Committee.
With this, the Gwanak District Council, after being unable to organize for over 100 days, has completed its setup and plans to hold standing committee meetings on the 21st and budget and accounts committee meetings from the 22nd to the 24th.
In particular, the budget and accounts committee is expected to review the supplementary budget proposal for the second half of the year submitted by the Gwanak District Office.
