Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 17th that it will hold the ‘2024 Yangju City Happiness Special Lectures,’ where cultural psychologist Dr. Kim Jung-woon and finance and economics expert money trainer Kim Kyung-pil will share experiences and knowledge with citizens in November.
The first lecture will be held on November 2nd, featuring cultural psychologist and director of the Institute for Various Problems, Dr. Kim Jung-woon, who will deliver an easy and engaging talk on the ‘Conditions of Happiness’ for modern people to enjoy life, based on humanities and psychology.
Following that, on November 26th, money trainer Kim Kyung-pil, author of 'Today’s Frugal Tech, Tomorrow’s Flex' and a guest on KBS programs such as 'National Receipt' and 'High-end Salt Strider,' will share financial know-how under the theme ‘The Formula for Becoming Rich by Spending Well and Saving Well,’ teaching how to achieve different results with the same salary.
Each lecture will accept the first 300 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be made through the Yangju City Lifelong Learning Center course registration website or via the QR code attached to the promotional poster. Registration for Dr. Kim Jung-woon’s lecture will begin on the 21st, and for money trainer Kim Kyung-pil’s lecture on November 13th.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, “I hope these high-quality lectures on various topics will contribute to the lives of residents, and that this event will help satisfy citizens’ cultural thirst and broaden their perspectives.”
