Hanam-si One-Stop Support Achievements for Corporate Attraction
Hanam City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new Hanam headquarters on the 16th with Seongwon Adpia Co., Ltd., the top printing company in South Korea. Gyeonggi Hanam City (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced that Sungwon Adpia Co., Ltd., the top printing company in South Korea, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of its new Hanam headquarters and has officially started construction.
According to Hanam City on the 17th, the groundbreaking ceremony for Sungwon Adpia's new Hanam headquarters was held on the 16th at 616 Pungsan-dong, attended by about 100 people including Mayor Lee Hyun-jae, Sungwon Adpia CEO Jung Dae-won, executives, partner companies, and representatives from Hyundai Construction.
Sungwon Adpia is a printing specialist company with annual sales of approximately 100 billion KRW, leading customer-tailored platform printing services. The new Hanam headquarters, whose construction began this time, is planned to be completed by October 2027, with a building area of 2,824㎡, a total floor area of 45,360㎡, and will be built with 6 basement floors and 10 above-ground floors.
The groundbreaking ceremony started with a pre-ceremony performance of calligraphy, followed by ▲progress report ▲groundbreaking ceremony commemorative speech and congratulatory remarks ▲celebratory performance (key guests' first shoveling) in sequence.
During the 8th elected term, Hanam City made a great achievement by attracting Sungwon Adpia through comprehensive efforts to create a ‘business-friendly city,’ including enacting the 'Hanam City Ordinance on Corporate Investment Attraction and Support' in August last year, aiming for industrial development and job creation.
In particular, through the enactment of the ordinance, Hanam City established a Corporate Attraction Center and provided a one-stop corporate civil complaint processing service that shortens various administrative procedures, thereby laying the foundation for administrative and financial support. Hanam City utilized this to designate Sungwon Adpia as the ‘first company for one-stop corporate civil complaint processing’ and achieved the result of establishing the new headquarters in Hanam.
At that time, to attract Sungwon Adpia, 27 people from 19 departments including the Transportation Policy Division and Architecture Division gathered in one place to carry out one-stop corporate civil complaint processing, demonstrating rapid administration by completing the building permit approval, which could originally take more than a month, in just two weeks.
Hanam City expects that the construction of Sungwon Adpia’s new headquarters will not only increase jobs in the region but also enhance the city’s brand value as a ‘desirable city to live in and a business-friendly city’ externally, through Sungwon Adpia’s further development by utilizing Hanam’s excellent natural environment and infrastructure.
CEO Jung Dae-won of Sungwon Adpia emphasized in his commemorative speech, “The new Sungwon Adpia Hanam headquarters will serve as an ‘innovative platform created by space’ where culture, art, and technology can be experienced and shared beyond just architecture.” He added, “It will also establish itself not merely as the exclusive property of one company but as a ‘space where people, environment, and the future of the local community coexist,’ breathing together with citizens and enjoying culture and knowledge.”
Mayor Lee Hyun-jae stated, “From the perspective of Hanam City preparing to leap into a self-sufficient city through the creation of quality jobs, the construction of Sungwon Adpia’s new headquarters will serve as a good model case explaining our policy direction.” He emphasized, “Hanam City will do its utmost to be recognized as a business-friendly city by watching many entrepreneurs, including Sungwon Adpia, the top printing company in South Korea, develop further based on Hanam City’s support.”
Meanwhile, Hanam City plans to continue proactive administration centered on the Investment Attraction Team and Corporate Attraction Center to promptly handle administrative and financial support necessary for corporate attraction.
