Ulsan Office of Education Wins Awards in All Categories at National Vocational Skills Competition for Students with Disabilities

Participation in 12 Events... 1 Gold, 1 Bronze, 2 Encouragement Awards, 8 Chairman's Awards

The Ulsan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) team recently won awards in all categories, including the gold medal, at the '2024 National Vocational Skills Competition for Students with Disabilities.'


They won the gold medal in the special school division for the food service category and the bronze medal in the special class division for the science box assembly category. They also received encouragement awards in the special class division for food service and product packaging categories. Eight students received the competition participation award.


The National Vocational Skills Competition for Students with Disabilities is held biennially to provide opportunities for students with developmental disabilities to develop and enhance their vocational skills. This year's competition was held on the 1st and 2nd of this month in Changwon, Gyeongnam, where the Ulsan team participated in all 12 categories and fully demonstrated their abilities in various fields.


The participating students and teachers said, "The preparation process for the competition was a challenge toward our dreams and a time to maximize the students' potential and develop their vocational skills. This competition gave us confidence, and we will strive to improve further in the future."
