Icheon City Conducts Joint Government Inspection
Held at Icheon Agricultural Theme Park Until the 20th
On the 17th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it conducted a joint government inspection on the 15th to ensure a safe festival ahead of the opening of the '23rd Icheon Rice Culture Festival.'

The city explained that related organizations, including the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Gyeonggi Province Special Safety Inspection Team, Icheon Fire Station, Icheon Police Station, and Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, participated in the inspection and conducted checks by sector.
The inspection team checked ▲the adequacy of the safety management plan ▲crowd density management measures ▲safety of stage facilities, booths, and tents installation ▲emergency response plans such as securing access routes for emergency vehicles ▲and safety measures in the fields of electricity, gas, and fire safety.
A festival official said, "To prevent safety accidents, cooperation from visitors is essential, so we ask for their participation in adhering to safety rules," adding, "The city will do its best to ensure that tourists visiting the festival site can enjoy the festival safely and comfortably."
Meanwhile, the Icheon Rice Culture Festival, which opened on the 16th, will be held until the 20th at the Icheon Agricultural Theme Park. The festival features various events such as ▲Gamasotbap Icheonmi Cheonwon (rice cooked in a traditional cauldron for 1,000 won) ▲Rainbow Garaetteok Making ▲Icheon Rice Master Exhibition ▲Yongjul Tug-of-War ▲Geobuknori Performance and Experience ▲Madanggeuk (traditional Korean outdoor play), among others.
