The 2nd Wonju Mandu Festival is just over 10 days away, and the response to the promotional post by singer Kim Heechul, the public ambassador of Wonju City, has been enthusiastic.

According to Wonju City on the 15th, on the 10th, a specially made 'Mandu Car' appeared at the filming site of a variety show featuring Kim Heechul to promote the festival. On that day, Kim Heechul visited the Mandu Car, took certification photos himself to upload on his social networking service (SNS), and delivered witty messages, showing passionate dedication as Wonju City's public ambassador.

Kim Heechul's promotional post, boasting 5.4 million followers, recorded 58,000 likes, effectively raising awareness of the festival. The city set up a Mandu King character doll and a photo zone at the promotional site so that anyone could take certification photos of the Wonju Mandu Festival. They are actively engaging in secondary promotion by sketching the atmosphere on-site and releasing it on Wonju City's official SNS and YouTube. A Wonju City official stated, "We plan to maximize promotional effects by actively utilizing not only the city's official SNS and YouTube but also the SNS of the ambassadors."

The Wonju Mandu Festival will be held for three days from the 25th to the 27th of this month at the traditional market and Culture Street area in Jungang-dong, Wonju City.
