Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu, Holds October Neighborhood Leaders Policy Communication Tea Time Mayor Kim Dong-geun is holding a 'Neighborhood Chief Policy Communication Tea Time' in the city hall conference room on the 16th.

Gyeonggi Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) held the "October Dongjangdan Policy Communication Tea Time" on the 16th at the city hall's medium conference room, attended by 22 people including the mayor, vice mayor, dong chiefs, and heads of welfare support and neighborhood support departments.

The October Tea Time was organized under the theme "2025 Pre-view Uijeongbu-View!" to preview the major dong tasks for 2025, and was conducted divided into four major themes for a sustainable future of Uijeongbu.

According to the four thematic areas, 14 dongs and 4 departments discussed next year's major tasks with careful consideration for residents.

By theme, the tasks reported included: ▲ 5 tasks such as the Howon 1-dong Vitality Enhancement Project with residents for "Tomorrow Created by Participation, Uijeongbu Connected by Communication"; ▲ 5 tasks such as promoting space rental services to form resident networks in Singok 2-dong for "The Power of Space, Activation of Resident Communities"; ▲ 3 tasks such as establishing a disaster and safety prevention management system with Heungseon-dong's autonomous civil affairs department for "Safe City, Streets Everyone Wants to Walk"; ▲ 5 tasks such as the Hanmaeum Connection Link 'Jjokbit Hope Project' in Uijeongbu 1-dong for "Hearts Caring for Each Other, Our Village Care".

In particular, Howon 1-dong promoted a dong-led project as a resident-driven activity in line with city-led initiatives through the "Howon 1-dong Vitality Enhancement Project" with residents. This fostered residents' hometown pride, improved quality of life, and created a space for resident harmony through participation and communication.

In the recent issue review corner, a field review video was watched about the policy "Immersed in the Dong, Close-distance Communication," which was started to communicate more closely with residents.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "As 2025 will be a year to show citizens a more grown version after many changes in the past two years, I hope the dong chiefs will do their best to promote dong administration that residents can empathize with."
