NHN DooRey Launches AI-Powered Collaboration Service 'DooReyAI' to Enhance Work Speed and Quality

Collaboration solution company NHN Doorey has strengthened its competitiveness by launching 'Doorey AI,' an all-in-one collaboration service equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance productivity.

According to NHN Doorey on the 16th, Doorey AI is a service focused on maximizing both quantitative and qualitative productivity. The company expects to expand its influence in both the public and private sectors through this service.

At a press conference held the previous day, Baek Chang-yeol, CEO of NHN Doorey, stated, "We are focusing on innovating work productivity through AI subscriptions for Software as a Service (SaaS) in line with the full-scale AI era," adding, "Leveraging Doorey AI, which can flexibly respond to any work environment, we will firmly establish ourselves as the main player leading the domestic collaboration tool market."

Doorey AI focuses on two main strategies: ▲customer-customized AI and ▲ease of adoption. Utilizing a multi-large language model (LLM) strategy, it plans to provide tailored services according to the client’s security environment and industry. Rather than relying on a single LLM, it diversifies by using models from OpenAI, HyperCLOVA X, LLaMA, Gemma, and even internal LLMs of client companies.

Additionally, a strength of Doorey AI is that existing clients who have already adopted the collaboration tool Doorey can subscribe to Doorey AI without the need to build a separate service.

The key features of Doorey AI include usability, improved work speed, and security. Any user can create an AI chatbot, and a chatbot builder is also provided to query and receive responses from LLMs based on data.

Moreover, Doorey AI offers functions that help improve individual work speed and quality, such as ▲drafting email templates ▲summarizing email content ▲registering messenger content as tasks ▲organizing schedules, among various other features.

Furthermore, it has measures to overcome security vulnerabilities where interactions with AI could be used as external training data. Doorey AI includes data loss prevention (DLP) features and provides internal audit monitoring to ensure AI-related information security and compliance with organizational regulations.

The collaboration tool Doorey has attracted attention by integrating various functions such as projects, email, messenger, and electronic approval into a SaaS format. It currently serves about 4,000 client companies, ranging from enterprise companies like HDC Hyundai Development Company and Hyundai Oilbank to various companies such as Yuhan-Kimberly, Norangpungseon, W Concept, and Shoemaker.

It shows particular strength in the public sector. More than 120 institutions have adopted it, ranking first in adoption rate. Seoul National University, the Bank of Korea, and KAIST have implemented Doorey, while the Road Traffic Authority and Korea Energy Agency use Doorey within their internal work networks. In May of this year, Doorey was introduced with the opening of the Space Aviation Agency and was also adopted by the Ministry of National Defense.

NHN Doorey is focusing on expanding into the financial sector. Woori Financial Group conducted preliminary tests for SaaS collaboration tools and generative AI within its work network. Financial companies such as Woori Financial Holdings, Woori Investment & Securities, and Shinhan Investment Corp. have completed applications for innovative financial services to the Financial Services Commission based on Doorey adoption.

NHN Doorey is also paying attention to the growth of the electronic approval service market. It aims to provide collaboration environments by offering each institution’s and company’s unique electronic approval systems in SaaS form, enhanced with AI functions.

CEO Baek said, "In the financial sector, we expect to achieve triple the sales compared to the previous year by next year," adding, "The expansion of the financial market and AI subscriptions will drive overall sales, and we will focus our capabilities to ensure SaaS subscription-related sales grow by more than 50% annually." He also added, "Doorey AI is expected to serve as a catalyst for AI adoption in public institutions."
