Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu City, is taking a commemorative photo together at the sponsorship goods delivery ceremony of Changjo Food Co., Ltd. and Kongsarang Tofu held in front of the city hall entrance on the 14th. Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 15th that Changjo Food Co., Ltd. and Kongsarang Tofu (CEO Lee Bong-man) donated 1,000 servings of frozen food (Yukgaejang) on the 14th to support vulnerable groups in the Heungseon and Howon areas.
Changjo Food Co., Ltd. has been operating a business in Uijeongbu since 2008, producing and supplying frozen foods such as rice bowls and stews. Since its establishment in 1998, the company has contributed to the local community by participating in donations every year to help neighbors in need.
CEO Lee Bong-man said, "Although it is a small sharing, we prepared it sincerely hoping it will be of some help to neighbors in difficulty," and added, "I sincerely hope everyone enjoys the food and stays strong."
Mayor Kim Dong-geun expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank the CEO and staff of Changjo Food and Kongsarang Tofu for their continuous donations to help those in need," and stated, "The donated items will be properly delivered to neighbors who require assistance."
This frozen food will be distributed to about 160 vulnerable households, including elderly living alone, families with disabilities, and low-income households, as well as senior centers in the Heungseon and Howon areas (Heungseon-dong, Uijeongbu 1-dong, Uijeongbu 2-dong, Howon 1-dong, Howon 2-dong, Ganeung-dong, and Nokyang-dong).
