The newly published book reflects on the necessary conditions for university students to demonstrate excellence, based on the author's experiences studying together with students.
It is a book that expresses the expectation and confidence that there could be many more excellent university students if professors and students communicate and study together, given that actual university students possess infinite potential.
In an era where the internet overflows with materials, information, and data in almost every field, and artificial intelligence (AI) creates content, university students may have low expectations for higher education. However, the author presents new perspectives on the direction and role of universities and university students.
First, the conditions for becoming an excellent university student are presented as ▲ intimacy and creativity ▲ absolige and absolige detox ▲ entrepreneurial spirit and stepping up ▲ good impression and employability ▲ presentation and communication.
The book contains 38 thematic essays covering topics such as depth of daily life, amateur and professional, expressiveness, the core of the Analects, news formulas, self-employment, interpersonal faces, new situations, daily speech and behavior, life campus, perspectives (frames), and having a good relationship with oneself.
Professor Lee Kwon-hyo said, “When university students and professors approach each other and connect intimately, students showed lively excellence,” adding, “The development of the internet and artificial intelligence can rather be a good opportunity and environment to awaken and demonstrate the potential of university students.”
