Law&Company, the operator of LawTalk, announced the service performance and user satisfaction survey results containing this information on the 15th, marking 100 days since the launch of SuperLawyer.

Launched in July, SuperLawyer had about 4,300 subscribers as of the 9th. This accounts for about 12% of the total 35,938 lawyers in the country. Among all members, 80.5% were lawyers affiliated with law firms, and 11.5% were lawyers belonging to legal offices. The proportion of corporate lawyers, judges, prosecutors, and other members was confirmed to be 8%.

The most active usage time was between 2 PM and 4 PM, accounting for 31.1% of total usage. In particular, 80% of total usage was concentrated between 9 AM and 6 PM.

In a service satisfaction survey conducted with 160 SuperLawyer members, 62.5% of respondents answered ‘satisfied’ and 18.8% answered ‘very satisfied.’ Following that, 16.9% said ‘average,’ and 1.9% said ‘dissatisfied.’

Especially, the highest scores were received for improving work efficiency. In response to the question about ‘experience of work efficiency improvement,’ answers were given in the order of ‘30 minutes saved’ (29.5%), ‘20 minutes saved’ (26.2%), ‘10 minutes saved’ (19.4%), ‘40 minutes saved’ (11.2%), and ‘more than 45 minutes saved’ (6.2%). A Law&Company official explained, “When converting the average perceived time saved based on respondents who experienced work efficiency, about 25 minutes were saved per one hour of work,” adding, “SuperLawyer has brought about an effect of improving lawyers’ work efficiency by approximately 1.7 times.”

SuperLawyer provides answers based on legal information such as 4.72 million domestic case law data held by Law&Company’s BigCase, as well as statutes, precedents, administrative rules, and authoritative interpretations. It also supports image PDF file recognition and offers a ‘case-based conversation’ feature that allows uploading multiple document files related to a specific case into one folder to enable Q&A based on the documents related to the case.

Kim Bonhwan, CEO of Law&Company, said, “As a leading legal tech company and the operator of the country’s first legal AI service, we will take greater responsibility and do our best efforts to support the growth of lawyers and contribute to the development of the legal AI market.”
