This year’s promotional booth attracted visitors’ attention through various events, including seafood tasting and sampling, as well as viral marketing targeting younger audiences, offering giveaways to participants on SNS platforms such as Instagram.
Additionally, 11 outstanding local companies, including Hongil Foods, Daeho Fisheries, Obada Food, and The Dongjjok Badaganeun Gil, participated together, successfully selling out their prepared products and receiving great responses from attendees.
In particular, the ‘Yeongdeok Blue Lohas Seaweed Beer,’ developed by extracting the main components of seaweed, Solbaljae Lohas’s ‘Cheonnyeoncho Gim,’ and Seongjin Whole Food’s ‘Snow Crab Nurungji Chips’ were showcased through tasting events, widely promoting the quality and authentic taste of local seafood products.
Moon Seong-jun, Deputy Governor of Yeongdeok-gun, stated, “Through this event, we plan to strengthen the network of local companies and actively promote the excellent seafood products of the region so that consumers can fully experience them. We will open new possibilities to lead Korea’s seafood industry centered on competitive marine resources and establish ourselves as a central city for marine tourism.”
