iM Bank to Hire 80 Branch Counter Staff... Possible Conversion to Full-Time After 1 Year

iM Bank (iM Bank, President Hwang Byung-woo) announced on the 15th that it will recruit retail banking positions in 2024 to enhance competitiveness through hiring talented individuals and to create jobs.


This recruitment is for the 'Retail Banking' sector, which primarily handles branch counter operations at iM Bank, aiming to train retail banking experts at the counter. The number of recruits is 80, and they will have the opportunity to gain practical experience for one year. After one year of work, based on performance evaluation, conversion to full-time employment is possible.

An iM Bank official stated, "We plan to convert about 50% of the 80 recruits to full-time employees after one year."



The retail banking positions will be recruited by region: the Seoul metropolitan area, Daegu-Gyeongbuk area, Chungcheong/Jeolla area, and Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam area. For regions outside the Seoul metropolitan area, applicants must be local talents whose final educational institution is located in the respective region, while anyone can apply for the Seoul metropolitan area positions without restrictions.


The application period runs until the 27th, and applications can be submitted through the iM Bank recruitment website.


The recruitment process is simplified and proceeds in the order of document screening (including AI competency evaluation), written test, and interview. The final successful candidates are expected to be announced in November.


President Hwang Byung-woo explained, "This retail banking recruitment offers many applicants the opportunity to gain actual banking work experience and the chance for full-time conversion, which will greatly help improve applicants' capabilities," and expressed his hope for many passionate talents nationwide to apply.
