Hansol Paper announced on the 15th that it is hosting the '7th Insper Award' and accepting design products using paper until January 2, 2025.
The Insper Award is Korea's first paper design competition, held by Hansol Paper since 2018. Insper is the representative brand of Hansol Paper's fancy paper, meaning 'Inspiring Paper' for designers.
The Insper Award is divided into a general division for professionals such as those in printing, publishing, and planning or freelance designers, and a student division for undergraduate and graduate students in design-related fields nationwide. Participants can submit design products made of paper such as books, packaging, stationery (accessories, daily necessities, stationery items), etc.
For this award, the general division will receive the Insper Award, Black Paper Award, and Golden Paper Award depending on the type of paper used in the submission, while the student division will be awarded the Insper Award and Young Designer Award respectively.
Additionally, Hansol Paper plans to support the winners with Insper paper products worth a total of 100 million KRW including prize money, and will also cover the entry fees for the top five works to the Red Dot Award, one of the world's top three design competitions.
A Hansol Paper official stated, "Since the Insper Award was first held in 2018, the number of participants has steadily increased," and added, "It will establish itself as a design competition that not only showcases the trends of domestic paper design but also contributes to discovering and nurturing young and promising designers."
