Naver Cultural Foundation, established to promote cultural content, is set to be integrated into Happybean, a foundation under Naver.
According to industry sources on the 15th, Naver Cultural Foundation decided to dissolve by a board resolution on the 11th of last month, and its business rights will be transferred to Happybean on the 1st of next month. The dissolution was decided to create synergy through integration with Happybean.
Naver Cultural Foundation is a non-profit public foundation established by Naver in 2010. It has carried out projects such as the music support program 'Onstage', the public lecture project 'Yeollinyeondan', and the Hangul love campaign 'Hangul Hangul Areumdapge'.
Naver plans to continue exploring new public interest projects after integrating Naver Cultural Foundation and Happybean. Happybean operates an online donation portal and has promoted a culture of sharing through campaigns such as regular savings campaigns.
