The 16th Benchmarking Visit from Other Local Governments to the 'Namyangju City Donor Hall of Honor'

Employees from the Social Welfare Department of Yangju City are taking a commemorative photo after visiting Namyangju City Hall to benchmark the 'Namyangju Donor Hall of Fame' and the 'Donation Kiosk.'

Gyeonggi Namyangju City (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 14th that it visited the Social Welfare Department of Yangju City on the 11th to benchmark the 'Namyangju City Donor Hall of Fame' and the 'Donation Kiosk.'

Yangju City conducted this benchmarking to ensure the successful operation of the donation kiosk scheduled to be installed this year.

This is the 16th benchmarking visit by other local governments to the Namyangju City Donor Hall of Fame and donation kiosk. Various inquiries have also been ongoing besides the visits.

The city explained to Yangju officials △the background of installing the Donor Hall of Fame △main functions △maintenance methods △ways to utilize the culture of sharing, and helped them experience key features such as instant donations and taking certification photos.

An official from Yangju City said, “Namyangju City is regarded as a representative exemplary case for the Donor Hall of Fame and donation kiosk, which is why we conducted this benchmarking visit. We expect that the simple donation process, fun certification features, and activation of sharing through donation relays will greatly help spread the donation culture in Yangju City as well.”

A city official stated, “We are grateful for the precious support of donors and are creating a virtuous cycle of sharing so that citizens can experience and share the donation culture through the Donor Hall of Fame. We hope that Namyangju City’s case will be helpful for Yangju City’s installation and operation of the donation kiosk.”
