Promotional Video for 'Meeting the Library in Advance (㎜)' Available from October
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 14th that from October, it will provide a promotional video for the online docent program "Meet the Library in Advance (㎜)".
The Gyomun Bang Jeong-hwan Library, which was newly reopened on March 4, offers various services based on the Bang Jeong-hwan specialization project along with smart library services reflecting the latest ICT technology. However, it has been pointed out that most users only use some familiar spaces and specific services.
Accordingly, the city decided to provide citizens with an engaging usage guide service reflecting the latest trends, allowing them to experience every corner and various services of the library online without visiting, making it easier and more convenient to use when they do visit.
The main contents will be divided into three themes: ▲Smart Library ▲Fun Library ▲Library Together, and will be introduced through Guri City's SNS, Instagram, etc. Additionally, an online docent bulletin board will be opened in the library introduction menu on the Guri City Library website to post themed library introduction videos.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “Through this online library usage guide, I hope to inform more citizens about the Gyomun Bang Jeong-hwan Library and encourage visits, so that the library can be seen not just as a place for borrowing books and providing reading rooms, but as a place where diverse and special experiences can be enjoyed.”
