Busan Regional Safety Culture Promotion Campaign Linked with Local Festival on the 11th
The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director: Gong Heungdoo) conducted a campaign for the October Safe Workplace Day on the 11th, in conjunction with the Dongnae Eupseong History Festival, one of the local festivals, at the area around the North Gate of Dongnae Eupseong, to promote a culture of safety and raise awareness of safety in the community.
On the 11th, the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency conducted the 'October Safe Workplace Creation Day' campaign.
Approximately 20 people participated in this October Safe Workplace Day campaign, including representatives from the Busan Employment and Labor Office, Busan Eastern Branch, Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, and the Serious Accident Prevention Division of the Dongnae District Office.
The campaign consisted of: ① the Anmyeodeulgi Campaign, ② the Four Prohibitions Campaign, ③ the Hazard Sign Attachment Campaign, and ④ a Nationwide Safety Awareness Survey.
The Four Prohibitions Campaign included: 'Prohibition of disabling safety devices', 'Prohibition of operating unfamiliar machinery', 'Prohibition of working without protective equipment', and 'Prohibition of servicing running machinery'.
Banners were displayed and street marches were held in different festival zones, with the distribution of OPS containing safety messages and safety stickers to spread the atmosphere of safety awareness among citizens attending the festival.
