The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) Gyeongnam Headquarters announced that it will conduct a national referendum on the resignation of President Yoon Suk-yeol in Gyeongnam as well.
On the 14th, the KCTU Gyeongnam Headquarters held a press conference in front of the People Power Party's Gyeongnam Provincial Office and declared the launch of the national referendum for the resignation of the Yoon Suk-yeol administration.

The union's Gyeongnam Headquarters stated, "Public sentiment toward the administration is cold and fearful," and argued, "We have repeatedly demanded and warned for change and correction, but what we get in return is rejection and intimidation."
They added, "The administration is neglecting people's livelihoods, causing a flood of state corruption, and suppressing democracy," and set a goal of having 150,000 union members, their families, and others in Gyeongnam participate in the vote.

The union said, "Starting from the 15th, all workplaces will participate in both in-person and online voting," and urged, "Please give the administration a stern warning so that it can no longer ignore workers and the public."
This referendum is being conducted nationwide, led by the KCTU, until December 7.
