DL E&C Wins 360.7 Billion KRW Contract for Jayang 7 District Reconstruction

Proposal for 'ePyeonhansesang Gwangjin River Garden'
"Active bidding activities including Hannam 5 District"

DL E&C announced on the 14th that it has been finally selected as the construction company for the Jayang 7 District Housing Reconstruction and Maintenance Project in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The construction cost is approximately 360.7 billion KRW.

The Jayang 7 District reconstruction project involves developing 826 apartment units and auxiliary facilities on 464-40 Jayang-dong. DL E&C secured the construction rights solely at the Jayang 7 District union general meeting held on the 12th.

The project site is adjacent to the Han River and Ttukseom Hangang Park. It boasts solid transportation infrastructure with access to Subway Line 7 Jayang Station, Line 2 Konkuk University Station, Yeongdong Bridge, Cheongdam Bridge, and Gangbyeonbuk-ro. The area is also rich in living infrastructure, including Lotte Department Store, Star City Mall, E-Mart, and Seoul’s representative commercial districts such as Seongsu Station and Konkuk University Station. The school districts, including Sinja Elementary, Dongja Elementary, Sinyang Elementary, and Jayang Middle and High Schools, are within walking distance.

DL E&C proposed "e-Pyeonhansesang Gwangjin River Garden" as the new complex name for Jayang 7 District. The name reflects the intention to establish a new landmark that enjoys both the Han River and Ttukseom Hangang Park locations.

The complex’s exterior features a symbolic design centered on a triple landmark tower emphasizing vertical beauty, combined with a frame design capturing the Han River. The design also incorporates 23 community facilities, including dePOEM Park, e-Pyeonhansesang’s specialized landscaping brand, and a sky community maximizing Han River views, as well as 100% expandable premium parking spaces. Additionally, industry-leading technologies such as noise reduction systems and advanced smart construction management will be applied.

Park Sang-shin, CEO of DL E&C, stated, "Through differentiated complex design, we will present a new landmark along the Han River that leads the future value of the region," adding, "In the second half of the year, we will continue active bidding activities in major maintenance project sites, including the Hannam 5 District Redevelopment Project."
