The Uijeongbu Lifelong Learning Center Foundation held the '2024 Semo School Career and Job Relay Special Lecture' on the 10th at the Lifelong Learning Center Auditorium. The Uijeongbu Lifelong Learning Center Foundation (Director: Yoo Sang-jin) announced on the 14th that it successfully held the '2024 Saemo School Career and Job Relay Special Lecture' on the 10th at the Lifelong Learning Center's main auditorium.
This special lecture was prepared to help adults overcome career and job concerns and achieve professional growth and social adaptation in response to the rapidly changing trends of modern society. The first lecture was conducted under the theme "Finding a Happy Job" by 'Bini Saem,' a dance trot singer and Uijeongbu City public relations ambassador.
The special lecture series, consisting of four sessions, will cover ▲ "Job Search Using My Ability Card" to identify one's strengths and capabilities through ability cards and the CAR technique, ▲ "The Power of Career Resilience to Help Employment Success," which explores career resilience and includes self-assessment of internal stress and recovery resilience, and ▲ "AI Transformation," which examines changes in jobs and work in the era of AI innovation and the integration of AI with tasks. These sessions are scheduled to take place consecutively in October and November.
Director Yoo Sang-jin of the Lifelong Learning Center stated, "With the recent revision of the Korean Standard Occupational Classification, a new occupational group called 'Civil Society Activist' has been established," adding, "We hope this realistic education reflecting changes in occupations will enhance adult learners' self-efficacy and provide an opportunity for them to have their own career paths and goals."
