Diwonder, the operator of the commercial building management solution 'BuildingCare,' announced on the 14th that it has launched 'BuildingCare Finance,' a service that allows the entire process of complex settlement tasks such as rent, maintenance fees, and utility bills?from calculation to billing and payment?to be easily and conveniently managed in one place for the first time in Korea.
BuildingCare is a Software as a Service (SaaS) that digitizes the traditionally manual and analog building management methods, helping to make building management more accurate and easier. It is a building management system that allows users to manage various building management elements such as contracts, billing and payment, facility maintenance, schedule management, and monthly reports all on one screen, making it easy for anyone to use. Since its launch in August last year, it is currently used to manage about 400 buildings nationwide. In July, it also secured a Pre-A investment from Korea Investment Partners.
The 'Finance' service launched by Diwonder digitizes the monthly tasks of calculating, billing, and collecting rent, maintenance fees, and utility bills required for commercial building management, making these processes easy to handle in one place. By automating the settlement tasks that were previously dependent on manual work and Excel, it reduces the inconvenience and the possibility of settlement omissions.
In 'Finance,' the rent amount written in the lease contract is automatically imported into the invoice, preventing settlement errors. Utility bill calculations for electricity, water, gas, etc., automatically retrieve data such as usage and amounts notified by the respective institutions when the unique customer number is entered. The division of utility bills based on room area and usage differences can also be automatically calculated according to pre-set criteria. Maintenance fees such as traffic inducement charges and cleaning fees can be conveniently set in advance according to the building’s situation.
Once all amounts are calculated, invoices are generated for each room. The recurring invoice generation feature makes it even more convenient to create invoices that need to be generated repeatedly every month. The generated invoices can be sent via KakaoTalk or email, and even if delivered directly to tenants, the billing history can be checked and managed within 'Finance.'
Sending invoices and collecting payments is also easy with BuildingCare. By importing bank deposit details and matching amounts, it is possible to accurately verify payment status. Invoices can be resent to tenants with outstanding payments, and late fees can be calculated and added for overdue amounts.
Lee Min-woo, CEO of Diwonder, said, “By digitizing the repetitive and analog settlement tasks every month, we aim to make it easy and convenient for anyone to manage all aspects of a building with just BuildingCare.”
Meanwhile, Diwonder recently decided to pilot BuildingCare in a luxury condominium building in New York, USA. After the localization pilot process, they plan to strive for official adoption within next year.
