"Recruited from Shinsegae"... SPC Appoints Lim Byung-seon as President and CEO

SPC Group announced on the 14th that Lim Byung-seon, the General President, has been appointed as the CEO of SP.

Mr. Lim is a management expert who has served as Vice President of Shinsegae Department Store Division, CEO of Shinsegae Casa, and Vice President of Shinsegae Group Management Strategy Office.

SPC plans to hold a board meeting later this week to appoint Mr. Lim as the sole CEO, overseeing areas such as personnel, legal affairs, external cooperation, compliance, and public relations. Additionally, he will serve as the chairman of the ‘SPC WAY Committee,’ a council of presidents from SPC Group affiliates. The current sole CEO, Do Se-ho, will oversee safety management and win-win cooperation tasks.

An SPC Group official stated, “The new CEO will lead changes and innovation in organizational culture and strengthen communication among affiliates, spearheading the realization of the group’s vision toward becoming a ‘Global Great Food Company.’”
