Daedong Hospital Provides Medical Volunteer Services at the 30th Dongnae Eupseong History Festival

Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Gwangjae) participated in the 30th Dongnae Eupseong History Festival on the 12th and operated a medical booth to promote the health of local residents attending the festival.

The Dongnae Eupseong History Festival, now in its 30th year, is based on the historical background of Dongnae Governor Song Sanghyeon and the people of Dongnae Eupseong uniting to fiercely defend Dongnae Fortress during the Japanese Invasion of 1592. The festival is hosted by Dongnae-gu and organized by the Dongnae Cultural Center and the Dongnae Eupseong History Festival Promotion Committee. It was held around the North Gate of Dongnae Eupseong, including Dongnae Cultural Center, Myeongnyun 1st Street, Oncheoncheon Cafe Street, and Oncheonjang area.

The festival featured a variety of programs such as "Wise Eupseong Resident Sports Life," "Dongnae Governor's Official Duty Reenactment Madang Play," "Opera Chunhyangjeon," "Dongnae Hyeminseo," "Eupseong Arcade," "Back to the Joseon Playground," and "Wish Lanterns," offering a mix of cultural performances, participatory experiences, and side events.

Daedong Hospital dispatched a medical support team composed of nurses, nursing assistants, and administrative staff to the Dongnae Hyeminseo area booth, where they measured blood pressure and blood sugar for local residents and provided health consultations to address their health concerns.
