Korea Deloitte Group Presents Seminar on AI Innovation and Governance Strategy

On the 14th, Deloitte Korea Group announced that it will hold a seminar on the 23rd at the International Financial Center titled "Governance System Establishment Strategy for Sustainable AI (Artificial Intelligence) Innovation." This is the first seminar in the ‘Deloitte AI Fluency’ series, which presents core strategies for corporate AI innovation and sustainable development.


This seminar will analyze the opportunities and risks companies face due to advancements in AI technology, addressing governance issues that companies need to focus on, such as ethical problems of AI, regulatory responses, and social impacts. Deloitte’s domestic and international experts will present important topics related to AI regulation and governance.

The seminar will begin with opening remarks by Hong Jongseong, CEO of Deloitte Korea Group, and Lee Seongyeop, President of the Korea Data Law and Policy Association. Kim Jinsuk, Partner of the Management Consulting Division at Deloitte Korea Group, will present on "Understanding and Managing AI Risks," while experts from Deloitte Australia and the UK will introduce global AI regulatory trends and industry-specific cases, focusing on the European Union (EU) AI Act.


Domestic AI business cases, the importance of establishing AI governance, and diagnostic cases of AI governance in Korean companies will also be covered. Additionally, Kim Taehong, Executive Director of Dataiku Korea, plans to present on the importance of AI regulatory compliance and effective response strategies.


Jo Myeongsu, Transformation Leader of Deloitte Korea Group, said, “Through this seminar series, we will share Deloitte’s global experience and insights with domestic companies and provide realistic insights into the impact of AI regulations on Korean companies and governance systems.”


The seminar will be held in person on the 23rd from 2 PM to 5 PM, with a Q&A session for attendees. Participation is free, and pre-registration is available through the Deloitte Korea Group website or online link.
