Basement Level 2 with a Capacity of 104 Vehicles... Pilot Operation from October 15
Paid Operation from November 1... 100,000 KRW per Day, 150 KRW per 5 Minutes for Hourly Parking
Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) has completed the construction of a public parking lot underground at the small park in Guro 2-dong and will begin a pilot operation from 9 a.m. on October 15.
The newly constructed public parking lot at the small park in Guro 2-dong has a total floor area of 4,412.7 square meters (㎡) across two basement levels and can accommodate a total of 104 vehicles.
The parking issue in the Guro 2-dong area, where multi-family houses are densely packed and parking difficulties were severe, is expected to be greatly alleviated.
The upper part of the parking lot has been developed as a resting space, allowing residents to freely use it as a shelter.
Before full-scale operation, the district will conduct a two-week pilot operation period and plans to start paid operation from November 1.
The usage fee for monthly pass holders is 100,000 KRW for all-day use (70,000 KRW for daytime, 30,000 KRW for nighttime), and hourly parking is available at 150 KRW per 5 minutes.
Details on operations such as monthly pass applications and registration will be posted on the Guro-gu Facilities Management Corporation website, so users should check in advance before use.
For more information, inquiries can be made to the Guro-gu Parking Management Division or the Guro-gu Facilities Management Corporation.
A Guro-gu official said, “We are pleased to start operating the parking lot, which was a long-standing wish of residents, after about four years of construction,” and added, “We will continue to secure parking spaces in various ways and actively work to solve parking problems.”
