Operation and Inspection of Safety and Health Management System
Booyoung Group is strengthening safety and health management at seven project sites, including the Booyoung Hotel in Sogong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul.
On the 13th, Booyoung Group announced that it will independently operate and inspect the 'Occupational Safety and Health Management System (KOSHA-MS)' at seven ongoing project sites. The Occupational Safety and Health Management System is a certification system under the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, affiliated with the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It requires the top management of a company to declare safety and health policies in their management guidelines and ensures that activities to establish a safety and health management system are systematically managed.
The representative project sites for this inspection include the Booyoung Hotel in Sogong-dong and the Asia Apartment Special Planning Zone in Yongsan-gu. The Booyoung Group's Safety Management Department Patrol Team will conduct focused inspections based on the Occupational Safety and Health Management System from the 14th to the 25th, with key inspection areas covering planning, execution, inspection, and improvement.
This year, Booyoung Group has set its safety and health management policy and goals as "Now, starting with myself, compliance with laws and regulations, and establishment of a safety-first culture," striving to create accident-free workplaces. Currently, the group has a safety management department and conducts annual system training to strengthen the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
A Booyoung Group official stated, "In the situation where on-site safety management has become more important after the Serious Accident Punishment Act, Booyoung Group is doing its best to prevent worker safety accidents by conducting construction site inspections and safety and health education."
