The event attended by CEO Moon is interpreted as a move to accelerate the management policy of securing global top talent to strengthen LG Innotek's business competitiveness and prepare for future businesses. In addition to CEO Moon, Kim Heung-sik, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO), and Noh Seung-won, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), also attended the event.

The event invited 32 PhD holders and postdoctoral researchers from over 20 major U.S. universities, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Illinois, and Purdue University. The main research fields of the talents include artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous driving, XR, and robotics, which are closely related to LG Innotek's future growth engines.

CEO Moon and the management team shared the company's major business areas, research and development (R&D) status, and future directions with the invited talents. Following this, LG Innotek researchers introduced key technology trends and development status in the fields of optics, autonomous driving, and AI.

In particular, CEO Moon held a 'Talk With C-Levels' session with the management team to discuss topics of interest to the talents, such as the company's strategy, technology roadmap, and expert development policies. The attendees showed great interest by asking questions about differentiated technologies in optics, autonomous driving, and robotics, the company's future preparation status, and the introduction of AI/digital twins.

CEO Moon said, "LG Innotek is growing by strengthening partnerships with the world's top customers based on technological innovation by outstanding talents. In particular, we have a systematic roadmap and a wide range of research fields where experts can grow, and we will actively support you to realize the future you dream of together with the world's best customers."

LG Innotek conducted a 'Global Internship' in July. About 30 foreign students enrolled in domestic universities and graduate schools, as well as Korean students studying abroad, participated in the internship. The students were assigned to various departments such as R&D, production technology, and overseas marketing. Outstanding interns are converted to full-time employees after interviews. Additionally, LG Innotek's Vietnam branch has signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with major local universities such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic University, operating contract departments, internships, career guidance, and various recruitment-linked programs.
