Hanwha Ocean announced on the 13th that labor and management have concluded negotiations on wages and collective agreements (wage and collective agreement negotiations) and will accelerate efforts to normalize management.
Hanwha Ocean reached an agreement on this year's wage and collective agreement negotiations through a vote of all union members on the 11th.
The company stated that through this negotiation settlement, it aims to move away from adversarial labor-management relations, promote mutual growth, and continuously communicate with its members to establish a zero-accident workplace.
A Hanwha Ocean representative said, "Even though the management situation has not yet normalized, the company has done its best to respond to the hard work of employees," adding, "Going forward, based on mutual trust between labor and management, we will prioritize building a safe workplace as our top management value and focus more on stabilizing production in the fourth quarter."
