The province will form three inspection teams to check 324 routes and 997 intercity buses operated by 13 companies, including Gyeonggi Express and Daewon Express, focusing on △compliance with intercity bus permits △vehicle and transportation worker safety management △accident response system establishment.
The province will focus on verifying regular vehicle inspections, pre-operation safety checks, and whether drivers have established safety and customer service training plans. Based on the inspection results, administrative actions and on-site corrective measures will be taken for any violations.
