Online Registration Opens from the 14th
Ulsan City will begin accepting applications for citizens to participate in various garden experience programs at the Taehwagang National Garden Autumn Festival on a first-come, first-served basis starting from the 14th.
The main programs of this event, which will be held for three days from the 25th to the 27th, include the "New Gardener Contest" and "Happy Gardener."
The New Gardener Contest will take place on October 26 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bamboo Ecological Park, targeting eight teams (2 to 5 people per team).
Participants will be able to freely create their own gardens using materials provided on the day, offering a new experience for citizens who have not had the opportunity to create a garden before.
The Happy Gardener program will be held twice on October 26, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with each session open to 12 families. Families with children can explore the national garden, experience gardening, and create lasting memories together.
In addition, prior to the autumn festival, from October 23 to October 25, the "I Am a Little Gardener" program will be held for daycare and kindergarten children at the Ginkgo Garden in the Samho District. About 80 children per session will participate at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. each day, engaging in activities such as making hydroponic pots, watering cans, bamboo bird feeders, and planting chrysanthemums.
All program applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. on the 14th through the Ulsan City website or the Taehwagang National Garden website.
Additionally, various garden experience programs, such as the Garden Consultation Center, a lifestyle garden consulting service that does not require prior registration, will also be available.
