Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 12th that the "11th Seokguram Autumn Foliage Temple Music Concert" will be held at the special stage of Obongsan Seokguram in the city.
The "Seokguram Autumn Foliage Temple Music Concert," hosted by the "Daehan Buddhism Jogye Order Obongsan Seokguram," is a representative festival of Seokguram held with warm interest and participation from many residents, and this year it will be conducted in two parts.
In the first part of the event, the 12th Compassionate Rice Sharing and Scholarship Award Ceremony will be held to practice love for neighbors and share compassion, followed by various musical performances in the second part.
On this day, vocal artist Jaeha, singers Kim Dana, Lee Jeongbin, Jang Haeun, and others will take the stage, and various performers including Pastel Girls and Kim Honggeun will present diverse performances to provide the audience with an enjoyable time.
Meanwhile, Obongsan Seokguram was founded by Monk Uisang during the reign of King Munmu of Silla and was also a training site for the royal monk Naong Hwasang during the reign of King Gongmin of Goryeo.
