Guri City held a workshop on the 2nd at Moduljari, Hongcheon, to strengthen the capabilities of consumer food hygiene inspectors. Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 11th that it held a workshop on the 2nd at Moduljari in Hongcheon to strengthen the capabilities of consumer food hygiene inspectors.
There are 34 consumer food hygiene inspectors in Guri City, who contribute to protecting food safety in the local community by guiding and inspecting hygiene at food service establishments within the jurisdiction, promoting and educating on food hygiene, and monitoring labeling and advertising standards of distributed food products.
This workshop aimed to thoroughly enhance food hygiene safety by improving the practical skills of the inspectors through sharing the latest health information and providing a platform for cooperation among inspectors based on discussions of various field experiences.
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri City said, “We will continue to take the lead in creating a safe food environment by strengthening the capabilities of consumer food hygiene inspectors through systematic education and various support.”
